Our Classes

Designed to improve the activities of daily living for all seniors

Helping residents maintain independence with everyday tasks like bathing, dressing, grooming, and moving confidently through their day is at the core of our mission. Our goal is to restore strength, stability, and confidence while creating an uplifting group environment that residents genuinely enjoy.

Our classes are built using science-based training principles centered on four pillars: Frequency, Intensity, Time, and Type. This structured approach allows us to deliver safe, effective, and engaging fitness sessions that improve balance, strength, and mobility—helping residents stay active, capable, and connected to their community.

Curating Senior Care Plans:

  • Frequency: Classes are offered at least 3 times per week to build consistency and momentum. Just like any skill, physical strength and balance improve with regular practice.

  • Intensity: Exercises are carefully scaled so residents are challenged but never overwhelmed. Participants may work with resistance bands, light weights, or bodyweight movements to safely build strength and stability.

  • Time: Each session is designed to fit comfortably into a community schedule, typically lasting 30–60 minutes, allowing residents to get meaningful activity without fatigue.

  • Type: Movements focus on functional fitness—strength, balance, coordination, and mobility—directly supporting everyday activities like standing up from a chair, walking confidently, reaching for objects, and preventing falls.

Consistency is especially important because of the Reversibility Effect, a well-known principle in exercise science that shows physical improvements can decline when activity stops. When residents participate regularly, they maintain strength, balance, and confidence. When programs are inconsistent, those gains can fade. Our structured programming helps ensure residents continue progressing rather than losing the progress they’ve worked hard to build.

Consistent, structured fitness programming doesn’t just improve health—it helps residents stay independent longer, reduces fall risk, and creates a positive activity residents look forward to attending.
